I’d like to introduce myself to you all and let me tell you about why I created this community website.

I live on my own with my amazing, faithful, loving dog named “Ralphy” in the beautiful Garw Valley in Bridgend, South Wales.

I don’t have any family or close friends nearby and my partner doesn’t live locally so we only see each other most weekends. As I don’t go out socialising much and work from home, human contact is few and far between so I started looking for local community groups both online and social media groups. (I soon removed myself from these social media groups).

I couldn’t find anything local to me or even relevant so, having some previous website building experience as a hobby, I decided to create a community group to help others like me, build friendships and to help build my local community.
